Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Matthew'
- Give us today our daily bread.
- Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
- Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. - Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted. - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
- If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
- But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. - Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
- You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
- Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
- Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. - Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.Next verse! With image
