Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Mighty'
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream. - He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. - For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
- And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- Who hath wrought and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - Set me as a seal upon thine heart,
as a seal upon thine arm:
for love is strong as death;
jealousy is cruel as the grave:
the coals thereof are coals of fire,
which hath a most vehement flame. - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
- Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.Next verse!With image
