- But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
- Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
- But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior.
