- “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts. - Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

I will make my words known to you. - For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. - And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
- It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy,
And afterward to reconsider his vows. - You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. - May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
For the glory of Your name;
And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins,
For Your name’s sake! - But now, O Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand. - But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed. - To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
