- Better is a little that the righteous person has
than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. - Rend your hearts and not your clothing.
Return to the Lord, your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love,
and relents from punishing. - Let the wicked forsake their way,
and the unrighteous their thoughts;
let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself.
- The human mind plans the way,
but the Lord directs the steps. - Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
- Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
- For he satisfies the thirsty,
and the hungry he fills with good things. - For the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true.
- Speak out, judge righteously,
defend the rights of the poor and needy. - How can young people keep their way pure?
By guarding it according to your word. - O Lord, all my longing is known to you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
- I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - When one will not listen to the law,
even one's prayers are an abomination. - Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble. For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.
- Cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
- Honor the Lord with your substance
and with the first fruits of all your produce. - For we are God's servants, working together; you are God's field, God's building.

I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion!

Lo, your king comes to you;

humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - In Hades, where he was being tormented, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. He called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in agony in these flames.’
- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever follows perverse ways will be found out.
