- Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
- Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
- Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! - But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
- You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah - Ponder the path of your feet;
then all your ways will be sure. - I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules, and keep my Sabbaths holy that they may be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
- And rend your hearts and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster. - Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.
- For not by their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and the light of your face,
for you delighted in them. - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you. - For your steadfast love is great to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds. - If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- My son, keep your father's commandment,
and forsake not your mother's teaching.
