Chinese (traditional)- O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
- Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.Next verse!With image
