- You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. - In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way. - My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
- You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. - Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children.
