Thy (3/4)

  • Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
    O Lord, have we waited for thee;
    the desire of our soul is to thy name,
    and to the remembrance of thee.
  • And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
  • Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
    according as we hope in thee.
  • But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
  • And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
  • Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
    and not to covetousness.
  • Yea, though I walk
    through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil:
    for thou art with me;
    thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
  • But I have trusted in thy mercy;
    my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
    I will sing unto the Lord,
    because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
  • We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
  • Grant thee according to thine own heart,
    and fulfil all thy counsel.
  • But I will sing of thy power;
    yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
    for thou hast been my defence
    and refuge in the day of my trouble.
  • Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
    and lean not unto thine own understanding.
    In all thy ways acknowledge him,
    and he shall direct thy paths.
  • Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
    my lips shall praise thee.
    Thus will I bless thee while I live:
    I will lift up my hands in thy name.
  • I have chosen the way of truth:
    thy judgments have I laid before me.
  • O Lord, thou art my God;
    I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
    for thou hast done wonderful things;
    thy counsels of old
    are faithfulness and truth.
  • So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
    when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
    and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
  • Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
    that I might not sin against thee.
  • Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
  • In the multitude of my thoughts within me
    thy comforts delight my soul.
  • I will never forget thy precepts:
    for with them thou hast quickened me.
  • Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
    remove thy foot from evil.
  • I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
    as much as in all riches.
  • Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.
  • Great peace have they which love thy law:
    and nothing shall offend them.
  • Keep thy heart with all diligence;
    for out of it are the issues of life.

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

Bible verse of the day

Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy.
