To (4/4)

  • And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day.
  • Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.
  • For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
  • Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
  • And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
  • So teach us to number our days
    that we may get a heart of wisdom.
  • And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
  • Fine speech is not becoming to a fool;
    still less is false speech to a prince.
  • Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
  • If you turn at my reproof,
    behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
    I will make my words known to you.
  • God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.
  • Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
    O Lord, hear my voice!
    Let your ears be attentive
    to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
  • But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”
  • Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
  • And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
  • Let us test and examine our ways,
    and return to the Lord!
  • For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
    abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
  • The heart is deceitful above all things,
    and desperately sick;
    who can understand it?
    “I the Lord search the heart
    and test the mind,
    to give every man according to his ways,
    according to the fruit of his deeds.”
  • But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
  • But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
  • Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
    and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
    For the Lord is a God of justice;
    blessed are all those who wait for him.
  • And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
  • Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
  • The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
  • Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.

Bible verse of the day

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
