- For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

- Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. - In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
- And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
