Chinese (traditional)- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Yet, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay and you are our potter;
all of us are the work of your hands. - Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward.
- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
- O Lord, you are kind and forgiving,
filled with kindness for all who cry to you. - If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
- Beloved,
since God loved us so much,
we should love one another. - Once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in every respect as we are, but without sinning.
- However, if we live in the light
as he himself is in the light,
then we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son
purifies us from all sin. - That is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, and they devote themselves to this service.
- O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us,
for we have placed our hope in you. - A thief comes only
to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
that they may have life,
and have it in abundance. - Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you.
- For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.
- When I fed them, they were satisfied;
when they were satisfied, they became proud of heart
and quickly forgot me. - But who am I, and what are your people,
that we should be able to do this?
All things belong to you,
and everything that we have given you is from your hand. - For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
- The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.
- In the same way, even the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs that cannot be put into words.
- Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer.
- At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly.
- For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
- For us there is
one God, the Father,
from whom all things are
and for whom we exist,
and one Lord, Jesus Christ,
through whom all things are
and through whom we exist. - No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.”Next verse!With image
