Chinese (traditional)If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? Better is a little with the fear of the Lord,
Than great treasure with trouble. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;
For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore! So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. For so the Lord has commanded us:
‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. Yes, in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have waited for You;
The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.Next verse!With image
