Chinese (traditional)But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints. The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.” The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
And he who begets a wise child will delight in him. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase. So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles. Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. My son, keep your father’s command,
And do not forsake the law of your mother. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.Next verse!With image
