Chinese (traditional)The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned,
and flame will not scorch you. For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. But I will sing of your strength.
Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning.
For you have been my high tower,
a refuge in the day of my distress. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it. Therefore remove sorrow from your heart,
and put away evil from your flesh;
for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. I will bless Yahweh at all times.
His praise will always be in my mouth. Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen. You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
but the mouth of the wicked is perverse. For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it. Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. I haven’t gone back from the commandment of his lips.
I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.” You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace. Praise Yahweh, my soul!
All that is within me, praise his holy name! But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent. Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but joy comes to the promoters of peace. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
