And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity. Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.Next verse!With image
