But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.Those who place their hope in the Lord will regain their strength. They will soar as with eagles’ wings, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not become faint.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing.
And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.Do not be afraid or dismayed, the Lord will go before you; he will not fail or forsake you.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; nor will the waters engulf you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not consume you.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.I have given you a command. Be strong and brave, do not be afraid nor dismayed. I, the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercy and the God of all consolation. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.And let us consider how to spur one another to love and good works. Do not neglect to attend your assemblies, as some do, but rather encourage one another, especially since you can see the Day approaching.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.Keep alert; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world.
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.Diligent labor always yields profit, but idle conversation only leads to poverty.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.Our temporary light afflictions are preparing for us an incomparable weight of eternal glory.
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.Because in my eyes you are precious, because you are honored and I love you, I will give people in exchange for you and nations in return for your life.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.May the God of perseverance and encouragement grant that you may live in harmony with one another, following in the example of Jesus Christ.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.May the favor of the Lord, our God, rest upon us. And may the work of our hands prosper— indeed, may the work of our hands prosper.
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight. Even the hairs on your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth far more than any number of sparrows.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.

For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
