Chinese (traditional)- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
- I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself.
- I, I am he who comforts you;
why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die,
a human being who fades like grass? - They will hunger no more, and thirst no more;
the sun will not strike them,
nor any scorching heat;
for the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of the water of life,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. - For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
- For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
But surely, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us.Next verse!With image
