- It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
