- God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and he won’t do it?
Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good? - God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
- The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
- I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.
- God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness;
the world, and those who dwell in it. - But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
- You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- He reveals the deep and secret things.
He knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him. - We can’t reach the Almighty.
He is exalted in power.
In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress. - For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - But our God is in the heavens.
He does whatever he pleases. - For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past,
like a watch in the night. - “I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.”
- It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth—Yahweh is his name.
- I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.”
- Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
- And to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.
