- Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth. - By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Before the mountains were born,
before you had formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God. - We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!
- This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
- For who is God, except Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am Yahweh.
- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,
but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
so my soul pants after you, God. - Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his loving kindness. - And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- You, Yahweh, remain forever.
Your throne is from generation to generation. - “Can anyone hide himself in secret places
so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh.
“Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh. - He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- Yet I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt;
and you shall acknowledge no god but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
- What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh,
the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
