- Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
- Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
- That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - But godliness with contentment is great gain.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.Next verse!With image
