- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good. - Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday. - Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
- Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life.
- This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. - He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
- For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings. - My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established. - Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
- Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

- You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
- For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
