- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday. - He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good. - Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
- Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life.
- This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. - He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
- The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings. - My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
- For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established. - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
- But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
