Chinese (traditional)- I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
- “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
- Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
- And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?
- And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.
- And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
- He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.”
- The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.
- Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.
- And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. Direct your children onto the right path,
and when they are older, they will not leave it.Next verse! With image
