- But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves. - Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;
For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. - The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
- And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
- Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,
But righteousness delivers from death. - Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
- I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths. - Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
- Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
The heart of the wicked is worth little. - But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot has held fast to His steps;
I have kept His way and not turned aside. - The wicked borrows and does not repay,
But the righteous shows mercy and gives. - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
- Yes, in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have waited for You;
The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You. - Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you. - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
- He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints. - “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!”
- There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- The hope of the righteous will be gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked will perish. - Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.
