| There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. | Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. | So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. |
| If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. | But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |

| And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. | And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |
| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
| Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? | Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? |
