1 John 4:18 (2/2)

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true.If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches—comes not from the Father but from the world. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever. The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever.
No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father. As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
As for you, the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and so you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him.And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you remain in Him.
And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.
Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another.
We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Bible verse of the day

And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.
