- Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.

- Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. - The hand of the diligent will rule,
But the lazy man will be put to forced labor. - Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty,
And before honor is humility. - There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. - Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,
But he who hates correction is stupid. - Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. - Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.
- Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. - He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

The simple pass on and are punished. - The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. - For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
- Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield. - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
- When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
- There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
- Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- I have not departed from the commandment of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth
More than my necessary food. - Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
