But humility goes before honor. - There is a way which seems right to a person,
But its end is the way of death. - One who loves discipline loves knowledge,
But one who hates rebuke is stupid. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But desire fulfilled is a tree of life. - Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us. - Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.

- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. - And faithfulness is Yours, Lord,
For You reward a person according to his work. - Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.
- But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor?
- I have not failed the command of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. - But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment.
- In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
