Bible Verses about '12:13'
- You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
- Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
- And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
- Because I delivered the poor who cried out,
The fatherless and the one who had no helper.
The blessing of a perishing man came upon me,
And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. - I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
- But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
- Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
- I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
- And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
- Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit. - Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
- Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding. - And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
- Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
- By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom. - The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
But the poor does not hear rebuke. - Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
- Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.
- By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
- As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. - He who walks with wise men will be wise,
But the companion of fools will be destroyed. - And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. - By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- A talebearer reveals secrets,
But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter. - And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase. - So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - He who guards his mouth preserves his life,
But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction. - For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ - But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
- Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate. - And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
- He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. - When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.
- Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
