- You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
- This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
- For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
- Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?
- I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
- Keep your tongue from evil,
and your lips from speaking lies. - Rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
- Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gets understanding. - You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
- Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
- Pride only breeds quarrels,
but wisdom is with people who take advice. - Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
- The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
but the poor hear no threats. - Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.
- Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- One who walks with wise men grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm. - Bring us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. - By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away,
but he who gathers by hand makes it grow. - Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. - Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - He who guards his mouth guards his soul.
One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. - If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
- One who brings gossip betrays a confidence,
but one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret. - So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
- For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand,
saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid.
I will help you.’ - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.

- The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil.
I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth. - I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.
- Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
- He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
- For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.
- According to their pasture, so were they filled;
they were filled, and their heart was exalted.
Therefore they have forgotten me. - Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
