Bible Verses about '12:13'
- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
- That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life. - Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
- Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.
- For I assisted the poor in their need
and the orphans who required help.
I helped those without hope, and they blessed me.
And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy. - So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.
- But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
- For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?
- Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
- Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God.
- If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
- Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
- Then keep your tongue from speaking evil
and your lips from telling lies! - Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding. - Pride leads to conflict;
those who take advice are wise. - There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one. - Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
- The rich can pay a ransom for their lives,
but the poor won’t even get threatened. - Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.
- Walk with the wise and become wise;
associate with fools and get in trouble. - So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way.

tender and compassionate to those who fear him. - Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness
while I am here in the land of the living. - A gossip goes around telling secrets,

- Those who control their tongue will have a long life;
opening your mouth can ruin everything. - But when you had eaten and were satisfied,
you became proud and forgot me. - So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper,
so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?” - May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’ - All who fear the Lord will hate evil.
Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance,
corruption and perverse speech. - Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
- So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. - But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
