- Are you not aware that wrongdoers will never inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, thieves, extortioners, drunkards, slanderers, swindlers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.

- Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues. - Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.
- Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
- Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts.
- For who is God except the Lord?
Who is a rock aside from our God? - The Lord makes poor and makes rich,
he humbles and he also exalts. - Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- Fix your thoughts on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.
- When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows,
but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble.
