- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.

- How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. - For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

- Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
- Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
- Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all offenses. - And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.”
- Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
- For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.
- And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
- Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
- Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand.
Do not forget the humble. - My son, pay attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
They are not to escape from your sight;
Keep them in the midst of your heart. - Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
- This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
- If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a heart of wisdom. - A fool’s anger is known at once,
But a prudent person conceals dishonor. - Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad. - Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
