- But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.

Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin. - So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

All day long I put my hope in you. - In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.
- Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord.
Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. - We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.
- For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
- May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
- For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.
- Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
- Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.
- And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
- And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: “Jesus is the Messiah.”
- Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”
- In the blink of an eye wealth disappears,
for it will sprout wings
and fly away like an eagle. - Do what is good and run from evil
so that you may live!
Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper,
just as you have claimed. - So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
- If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
- Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.
- But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations.
- See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.
