- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.

- By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
- To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

still less is false speech to a prince. - Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
- Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
- Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”
- On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. - He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight. - Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.
- For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
- And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
