Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. | For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. |
I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. | I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. |
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” | And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” |
Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May your glory shine over all the earth. | Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth. |
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? | He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? |
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. | Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. |
Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth. | Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth. |
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. | Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. |
I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? | Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? |
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. | As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. |
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything. | All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. |
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. | Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. |
Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. | If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. |
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. | As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. |
But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live. | Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. |
Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. | Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! |
Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. | Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. |
When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. | When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. |
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” | Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. | But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. |
Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. | For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. |
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. | I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. |
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. | For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. |

Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed! | Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed. |
