Chinese (traditional)- Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.
- And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
- Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory. - See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
- And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- The Lord preserveth the strangers;
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
- The vine is dried up,
and the fig tree languisheth;
the pomegranate tree,
the palm tree also,
and the apple tree,
even all the trees of the field, are withered:
because joy is withered away
from the sons of men. - Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
- And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
- Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.Next verse!With image
