Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Be Merciful even as your heavenly'
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
- For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
- Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
- If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
- With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful;
with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
- And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
and I will not keep anger for ever. - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Next verse!With image
