- Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
- This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
- But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
- He must increase, but I must decrease.
- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
- Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
- But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
- The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute. - And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.
- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
- But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
- For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
- And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
