Bible Verses about 'Behold the lord'
- I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - All this took place in order to fulfill what the Lord had announced through the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and give birth to a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
a name that means “God is with us.” - My soul thirsts for God, the living God.
When shall I come to behold the face of God? - What then if you were to behold the Son of Man
ascend to where he was before? - Surely God is my helper;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Consequently, anyone united to Christ is a new creation. The old order has passed away. Behold, all has become new.
- So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish?
- The Lord will battle for you. Be calm!
- Behold, he is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him.
All the peoples of the earth will mourn him.
So shall it be. Amen. - Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me.
- But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those who trust in his kindness. - Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.”
- Behold, I am coming soon, and I will bring with me my reward to repay everyone as his deeds deserve.
- And God said, “Behold, I give you every plant that produces seeds upon the earth and every tree that has fruit with its seed inside of it: these shall be your food.”
- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
- The Lord God said, “Behold, man has become like one of us, for he has knowledge of that which is good and that which is evil. Now, we must prevent him from reaching out and taking the fruit of the tree of life lest he eat it and live forever.” The Lord God cast him out of the Garden of Eden; henceforth he was to labor tilling the soil from which he had come.

the Maker of heaven and earth. - Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
seek his face continually. - Let us examine and test our ways
and return to the Lord. - Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

seek his face continually. - Indeed, who is God except the Lord?
Who is the Rock besides our God? - Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
- May the Lord grant strength to his people.
May the Lord bless his people with peace. - In my distress I called out to the Lord;
he answered by setting me free. - A man’s ways may seem right to him,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - The Lord makes poor and makes rich,
he humbles and he also exalts. - The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord.

The Lord is our king;
he is the one who will save us. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Who is a rock aside from our God? - A man may plan his own course,
but the Lord makes his steps secure. - Therefore, you will be given this sign
by the Lord himself:
The virgin will be with child,
and she will give birth to a son,
and she will name him Immanuel. - For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the Lord. - The Lord makes a man’s steps secure
when he approves of his conduct. - The reward of humility and fear of the Lord
is wealth, honor, and life.
