- And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God.
- Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

- Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?

and defend the rights of the destitute. - I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love so that they may grow rich in their complete understanding as they come to the knowledge of the mystery of God, that is, Christ.
- An honorable name is more to be desired than great riches,
and high esteem is preferable to silver and gold. - I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
- Enriched in every way, you will be able to practice all your acts of generosity, which, through our intervention, will result in thanksgiving to God.
- But now the righteousness of God that is attested by the Law and the Prophets has been manifested apart from law: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. No distinction has been made.
