| Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. | Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. |

Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. | Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. |
| Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. | For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. |
| The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. | The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein. |

| This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! | Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. |
