Bible【theonebb.com】【bibletheone.com】the one bible study prayer example (2/4)

  • Return and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: Thus says the Lord, the God of David, your father: I have heard, I have seen your tears. I will heal you today, and the day after tomorrow you will go up to the temple of the Lord.
  • They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers.
  • When they had finished their prayer, the place where they were gathered together shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and proclaimed the word of God fearlessly.
  • And whenever you stand in prayer, forgive whatever grievance you have against anybody, so that your Father in heaven may forgive your wrongs too.
  • Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.
  • O Lord, at daybreak you hear my voice;
    at daybreak I bring my petition before you
    and await your reply.
  • For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.
  • There is one body and one Spirit, as well as one hope to which you have been called by your vocation.
  • I am not asking you
    to take them out of the world,
    but I do ask you
    to protect them from the evil one.
  • After John had baptized all the people, and while Jesus was engaged in prayer after also having been baptized, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.”
  • Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
  • I stretch out my hands to you;
    my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
  • For there is one God,
    and there is one mediator between God and man,
    Christ Jesus, himself a man.
  • But do not ignore this one fact, beloved: with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
  • Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
    O Lord, hear my voice.
    Let your ears be attentive
    to my cries of supplication.
  • I give you a new commandment:
    love one another.
    Just as I have loved you,
    so you should also love one another.
  • Rather, be kind to one another and compassionate, and forgive one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.
  • No one has ever seen God,
    but if we love one another,
    God abides in us,
    and his love is made complete in us.
  • Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.
  • No one can serve two masters. For you will either hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
  • For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as free men, and we were all given the same Spirit to drink.
  • And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a sacrificial offering whose fragrance is pleasing to God.
  • This is my commandment:
    love one another
    as I have loved you.
  • Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself.
  • The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ.

For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains;
from where will I receive help?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
