Chinese (traditional)- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Without counsel purposes are disappointed:
but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
- But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
- It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
- And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - He coveteth greedily all the day long:
but the righteous giveth and spareth not. - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. - The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man.Next verse!With image
