Chinese (traditional)- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
- Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
- A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
- Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- While you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
- And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- For in much wisdom is much grief,
And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. - Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
- If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
- Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. - Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
- A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. - Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
- For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Next verse! With image
