This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. | Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. |

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?” |
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. | Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? |
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. | There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. |
Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews. | They set up over his head the accusation against him written, “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.” |

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. | For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. |
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. | Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus. |
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. | My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. |
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. |
Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? |
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” | Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.” |
