- And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
- Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid
in the day of the Lord's anger. - Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. - Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. - Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
- Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. - Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.
- And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
- We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.Next verse!With image
