Who “will render to each one according to his deeds”God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
And in that day you will say: “Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.”In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.”
Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
“Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord.Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil.Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.
Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.
Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.“And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.”
Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth.Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.
But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.

For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.
